Human Tail – Curiosity

Human tail is a curiosity, a cosmetic stigma and presents as an appendage in the lumbosacral region.Ohhara Y. Human tail and other abnormalities of the lumbosacrococcygeal region relating to tethered cord syndrome.
The longest human tail on record belonged to a twelve-year-old boy living in what was then  French Indochina , which measured 229 mm (9 inches).  Noteworthy, constructs lacking the human tail portion did not adhere to latex beads, indicating that the motor attaches via the tail portion, and that all NcKin domains are free.  Only one case has been reported with vertebra in human tail.

A true tail is easily removed surgically, without residual effects.  Ranging from one inch to five, the gene that normally stops vertebrae elongation is decreased and the human tail remains at birth.  The existence of true human tails is unfortunately quite shocking for many religiously motivated anti-evolutionists, such as Duane Gish, who has written an often-quoted article entitled “Evolution and the human tail” (Gish 1983; see also Menton 1994; ReMine 1982).
